8 Steps to Raising Money: Measuring your financial impact
Author's Insight:
If you are new to raising money, the process can seem endlessly complicated and overwhelming. This book removes all of the uncertainty and gives you a solid recipe for success.
Follow my guidelines and your fundraising campaign will be nearly fail proof.
I also wrote this book for entry-level professional fundraisers who need to achieve results for their organizations by raising funds. If you fall into this category, you have even more at stake. Not only do you want to support your employer’s initiatives, your personal career growth may depend on your fundraising ability.
You won’t be able to climb the ranks at work if you don’t get results from your campaigns. Like many people in our field, you may have taken marketing or advertising courses in college. While those classes prepared you for some aspects of your job, most universities do not teach students how to effectively raise money. This book will help you become a savvy fundraiser able to compete with other professionals for the same limited donor dollars.
