8 Steps to Raising Money: Measuring your financial impact
Anyone can be called a fundraiser. However, few people can honestly say they are good at it. Some people have the passion necessary to support their cause, but lack planning and organizational skills. Others can create solid budgets but fail to motivate their volunteers. Many people have good intentions but are secretly scared to ask for money, which means their campaigns are doomed before they even get underway. Fortunately, all of these problems can be overcome by following eight simple steps.
I am about to lead you through the fundraising process, from start to finish. By sticking to the eight steps outlined in this book, you will learn how to plan, execute, and complete a campaign that raises both money and your organization’s standing in the community. Most importantly, I will teach you how to attract donors and then keep them involved so they contribute to your organization in the future.
I wrote this book primarily for two audiences. First, I considered the grassroots fundraiser. I’m talking about the dads who want to purchase new equipment for the little league or the neighbours who decide they would like to improve their local park. These are people who want to support a worthy project but don’t have a real grasp on how bring their goals to fruition.
What people are saying about the book:
A helpful mix of strategy and activities ...
A consummate guide to fundraising...
An excellent road map and tool ...
A must read ...
